Sankeien Garden

Sankeien Garden

Sankeien is a huge Japanese garden in southern Yokohama which has a number of historic buildings & shrines from all over Japan. There's a pond, some rivers, flowers and fantastic walking trails that will make you think you are in Kyoto rather than Yokohama.
Sankeien Garden was built by Hara Sankei, who was left the land by his grandfather, and opened to the public in 1904. Among the historic buildings exhibited in the park are an elegant daimyo (feudal lord) residence, several tea houses and the main hall and a a three story pagoda of Kyoto's old Tomyoji Temple.
Sankeien Garden is a great place to visit while in Japan & is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season. Don't forget to bring a camera as the photo opportunities are endless.
Contact 24 Limousine & our sales team will arrange an english speaking chauffeur to pick you up & take you on a day trip to Sankeien Garden that you won't soon forget.
